Position Overview

The position is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of information technology policies and systems for the Public Service Commission. The incumbent will oversee all information technologies, ensuring they are evaluated and aligned with established organizational goals. A key aspect of this role is facilitating the identification of ICT user needs within the Commission and monitoring the continuous upgrading of hardware and software technologies to keep pace with global trends. Additional responsibilities include developing the Public Service Commission ICT budget, coordinating the management of ICT resources, and facilitating performance appraisals for department members. The role will lead the identification of capacity-building needs and coordinate capacity development initiatives for users of the Public Service Information Communication Systems. Furthermore, the incumbent will provide guidelines for access to Public Service Commission’s ICT systems networks and coordinate feedback mechanisms to evaluate user needs and system functionalities. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong commitment to enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of ICT within the Public Service Commission.
