Role Overview
1. Contribute to the formulation, implementation and review of rural development coordination policies and strategies in line with the Ministry’s mandate and national development imperatives. 2. Facilitate the implementation of the Presidential Land Tenure Implementation Program in the Province. 3. Coordinate multi-sectoral rural development programs in the Province. 4. Manage alignment of regional policy implementation, land use planning, and stakeholder engagement to drive rural economic growth. 5. Build partnerships across government tiers, traditional leadership, and private sectors to boost local service delivery and livelihoods. 6. Track provincial project performance and report on developmental progress to inform factual decision making. 7. Monitor the integration of resettlement areas and communal lands into provincial development plans. 8. Compile provincial reports, statistics and briefs for the Principals 9. Supervise, coach and counsel subordinates
Requirements & Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Agriculture, Public Administration, Development studies or any relevant field.
- A relevant Master’s degree in the aforementioned field(s) is an added advantage.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience at Officer Level Grade.
- Knowledge of national land reform policies, tenure systems, and statutory compliance frameworks.
- Familiarity with GIS and digital land information management systems.
- Strong strategic planning skills.
- Stakeholder engagement and conflict resolution skills.
- Expertise in provincial coordination.
- Leadership and management skills.
