Role Overview
The Manager, Business and Systems Analysis is responsible for leading and managing a team of Business Analysts, Systems Analysts, Scrum Masters, and Technology Adoption Engineers. This role involves overseeing the analysis, design, development, and implementation of technology solutions and ensuring the successful adoption of new technologies within the organization. The Manager is responsible for fostering a collaborative and high-performing team, driving process improvement, and aligning technology initiatives with business objectives..Oversee the elicitation, analysis, and documentation of business process enhancements, and business and system requirements.
.Ensure the development of accurate and detailed process models, system designs, and technical specifications.
.Review and recommend deliverables, including requirements documents, process flows, user stories, and test plans.
Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to Business Analysts, Systems Analysts, Scrum Masters, and Technology Adoption Engineers.
Set clear performance expectations, conduct performance reviews, and support the professional development of team members. Foster a collaborative, innovative, and results-oriented team environment by managing team workload, allocating resources effectively, and prioritizing tasks to meet project deadlines.
Ensure adherence to industry best practices, organizational standards, and regulatory requirements.
Promote and support the adoption of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework within the team and the organization.
Guide and coach Scrum Masters in facilitating Scrum ceremonies and ensuring adherence to Agile principles.
Ensure effective backlog management, sprint planning, and iterative development processes.
Drive continuous improvement and process optimization within the team and across projects.
Participate in the development and implementation of technology adoption strategies and plans.
Ensure effective communication, training, and support for end-users during technology implementations.
Manage change management activities to minimize disruption and maximize user adoption.
Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors.
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across departments to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
Manage stakeholder expectations and resolve conflicts effectively.
Provide regular updates to senior management on team activities, project progress, and key performance indicators.
Oversee the identification, assessment, and mitigation of project risks.
Ensure the implementation of quality assurance processes to deliver high-quality solutions.
Recommend solutions to improve business processes, enhance system functionality, and support organizational growth.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
- Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- Professional certifications in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA), Agile methodologies (e.g., CSM, PSM, PMI-ACP), or project management (e.g., PMP) are highly desirable.
- A minimum of 3-6 years of experience in IT, with at least 2-4 years in a management or leadership role.
- Extensive experience in business analysis, systems analysis, software development lifecycle, and Agile methodologies.
- Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive change and innovation.
