Role Overview
Incumbent is to contribute to the formulation and review of Constitutional and Parliamentary Affairs policies in line with the Ministry's mandate and national development imperatives; Manage the process of conducting legal Research on Constitutional and Parliamentary matters; Coordinate the alignment of legislation to the Constitution; Initiate policy functions of the Ministry; Manage consultation on Bills
Requirements & Qualifications
- LLB degree or equivalent
- A relevant Master's Degree is an added advantage
- At least 6 years as Law Officer
- Must be Registered Legal Practitioner
- Advanced skills in analyzing, developing and evaluating complex legal policies
- Proficiency in conducting extensive and detailed legal research
- In-depth understanding of national and international regulatory frameworks and their application to policy and legal research
