Role Overview
Collaborate with National Archives of Zimbabwe, National Museums and Monuments of Zimbabwe and other stakeholders to promote effective management of national records, museums and historical monuments; Participate in the preparations of Heroes Day Commemorations and the state proceedings for the burial of National Heroes and Heroines; Develop systems to ensure that all heritage sites and archival processes comply with statutory frameworks, regional and international cultural preservations standards
Requirements & Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Cultural Heritage, History, Archeology, Museum studies, or related field
- A Master's Degree in any of the above disciplines is an added advantage
- At least six years at Officer Level, Knowledge of heritage systems
