Sound Technician

Role Overview
1. Provide advice on technical requirements regarding sound and picture recording, 2. Put measures to ensure good sound quality. 3. Prepare camera positions and frame according to set standards. 4. Set up studio set before recording in line with set standards. 5. Undertake repairs or replacement of damaged or malfunctioning equipment. 6. Provide feedback in the form of (monthly or incidence) reports.
Requirements & Qualifications
- A Diploma in Sound Engineering, Audio Production, Music Production or equivalent.
- Advance knowledge of sound systems, including microphones, mixers, amplifiers and speakers.
- Expertise in capturing high quality audio for various formats, including live events, radio, television, and digital content.
- Familiarity with audio specifications and standards for broadcast media, ensuring all outputs meet regulatory and technical requirements
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure.
