Role Overview
The incumbent will oversee the implementation, coordination, monitoring and evaluation of Ministry policies, projects and programmes at District level. Promote initiatives that encourage community participation of Government and stakeholder efforts into sport, recreation, arts and culture programmes at District level. Prepare estimates of expenditure for Hwange District. Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly and annual progress- performance reports to the Matabeleland North Provincial Head. Manage the human and material resources allocated to Hwange District
Requirements & Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Sports Science, Arts and Recreational Studies, Cultural Studies, Sports Management or equivalent. A master's degree in the above-mentioned field (s) is an added advantage. Should have served at least four (4) years in the Administrative Officer grade or equivalent Should be conversant with current sport, recreation, arts and culture issues. Excellent verbal and writing skills. Management organizing skills.
