Role Overview
The incumbent will report to Director, Library, Documentation and Technical Services and will be responsible for managing the acquisition, production and distributing of graphical and audio visual educational materials for all schools subjects on offer, develop frameworks for the evaluation of the appropriateness of teaching and learning materials such as visual aids and graphic art productions, supervise the use of Educational Technology Mobile Services in schools, organize and supervise activities of educational audio visual services in collaboration with other stakeholders, facilitate workshops on the production of graphical and audio visual educational learning and teaching materials for members in the Section and monitor the disposal of obsolete and unserviceable equipment
Requirements & Qualifications
- A relevant Bachelor’s degree in Education, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia, Media Studies, Information Communication Technology or equivalent
- A relevant Master’s degree is an added advantage
- At least six (6) years experience in the Graphic Designer/Audio Visual Media Officer Grade or equivalent in the education sector
- Advanced understanding of digital media tools and content dissemination
- Proficiency in producing high-quality audio-visual equipment
- Oral and written communication skills
- Ability to engage with stakeholders
