Role Overview
The incumbent will report to Director, Discipline and will be responsible for developing frameworks to enhance operations of the Ministry’s Disciplinary Committees, manage the processing of discipline related cases referred to the Head of Ministry, coordinate the investigation of referred cases in line with Public Service Regulations, provide assistance/guidance to members in handling difficult cases, liaise with the Office of Attorney-General on legal and litigation issues and coordinate investigations of referred cases.
Requirements & Qualifications
- A degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent
- A relevant Master’s degree is an added advantage
- At least six (6) years of experience in the Human Resources Officer grade or equivalent
- An in-depth understanding of Public Service Disciplinary Regulations
- Ability to interpret legal statutes
- Presentation skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Problem solving and analytical skills
