Role Overview
Participate in the review of policies and regulations for the Ministry in line with national development goals and imperatives; Facilitate the preparation of the Ministry's Strategic Plan; Monitor the implementation of the Ministry's Strategic Plan by the various Departments; Supervise the analysis of reports from the various Ministry Departments and produce reports; Develop strategic tools for use by the Ministry in strategic thinking, planning and implementation; Provide technical advice in the development of aligned and integrated Departmental plans; Design programmes that support the Ministry's strategic purpose and intents; Develop and evaluate quantitative and qualitative research within the Department; Facilitate and prepare speeches and papers for local and international conferences
Requirements & Qualifications
- A degree in Strategic Management/Monitoring and Evaluation/Project Management/Economics or equivalent
- A masters degree in the above fields is an added advantage
- At least six years in the Officer grade or equivalent
- Extensive planning, organization, analytical, and project management abilities
- Extensive experience of evidence based strategic policy development
